• India will launch its most up-to-date communication satellite, GSAT-7A aboard Geosynchronous Satellite Launch Automobile (GSLV-F11) on December 19, 2018 from Satish Dhawan Room Centre at Sriharikota, Andhra Pradesh.
• The GSLV-F11 is ISRO’s fourth technology start auto with three stages. The start motor vehicle, which is in its 13th flight, will inject GSAT-7A into a Geosynchronous Transfer Orbit (GTO).
• GSAT-7A, which weighs about 2,250 kg, is the 35th conversation satellite created by ISRO. It is configured on ISRO’s normal I-2000 Kg (I-2K) Bus.
