• A non-venomous snake species has been discovered by Herpetologists Jayaditya Purkayastha of Help Earth, Guwahati and Patrick David of Museum National d’Histoire Naturelle, Paris in Guwahati, Arunachal Pradesh. The Snake has been named as “Crying Keelback (Hebius lacrima)”.
