• Home Minister N.Chinarajappa inaugurated a centralized call centre in Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh.

• Natco Pharma has launched a combination drug Valsartan-Sacubitril tablet in India. It is used for certain types of heart failure and works by relaxing blood vessels, making it easier for the heart to pump blood.

• Union Minister for Minority Affairs Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi stated that GST on Haj has been reduced from 18% to 5% and this will significantly lower the airfare thus saving Haj pilgrims’ Rs.113 crore in 2019.
