• Every year on 18 December, the world celebrates World Arabic Language Day. One of the pillars of humanity’s cultural variety is the Arabic language. It is one of the most frequently spoken languages globally, with over 400 million people speaking it daily. This day aims to enhance awareness of the language’s history, culture, and growth by putting together a particular schedule of activities and events. The theme of this year’s World Arabic Language Day is “The Arabic Language and Civilizational Communication,”.

• Every year on 18 December, International Migrants Day is commemorated worldwide. The United Nations, through the UN-affiliated International Organization for Migration, commemorates the day (IOM). The day is commemorated to honor the contributions of the world’s 272 million migrants, including more than 41 million internally displaced people, and the problems they encounter. Harnessing the possibilities of human mobility is the theme of International Migrants Day 2021.

• Every year on 18 December, India commemorates Minorities Rights Day. This day is commemorated to promote the right to freedom and equal opportunity for ethnic minorities in India and raise awareness about minorities’ respect and dignity. Since British rule, India has encountered numerous challenges in fundamental human rights. These rights, however, were protected after independence, and people must be made aware of them. As a result, every year on 18 December, we commemorate Minorities Rights Day. Minority Rights Day 2021 aims to promote all minority groups in society and encourage them to express themselves.

• Every year on 20 December, the world commemorates International Human Solidarity Day to celebrate unity in variety and promote awareness about the value of solidarity. According to the United Nations Millennium Declaration, Solidarity is one of the core concepts necessary to international interactions.

• In 2021, India will be the fourth most spam-affected country, according to Truecaller. According to the newest data from callerID, spam detection, and blocking provider Truecaller, spam call rates in India have risen again, with the country moving up in global rankings from 9th to 4th in 2021, thanks to a massive increase in sales and telemarketing calls. The surge is due to a significant increase in sales and telemarketing calls, which account for 93.5 percent of all spam calls in India.

• The National Cadet Core cadets composed the Rashtriya Ekta Geet, which Defence Minister Rajnath Singh just launched. The Rashtriya Ekta Geet has been written in 22 different languages. It revolves around the concept of national integration. It was unveiled at the Vijay Shrankhla aur Sanskrityon ka Mahasangam campaign’s grand finale. NCC organized a massive event in New Delhi as part of the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav. The program came to a close with a ‘Sanskritiyon ka Maha Sangam,’ where selected NCC cadets gathered to share their cultural heritage.

• Nadi Utsav began on 16 December and went on till 23 December. The Nadi Utsav 2021 is a pan-India event. The Ministry of Jal Shakti, the Ministry of Tradition, the Ministry of Tourism, and the Nationwide Mission for Clean Ganga are all working together to put on the event. Brahmaputra, Indus, Sabarmati, Narmada, Krishna, Mahanadi, Godavari, Ganga, Cauvery, and Yamuna Utsavs are held to celebrate the rivers Brahmaputra, Indus, Sabarmati, Narmada, Krishna, Mahanadi, Godavari, Ganga, Cauvery, and Yamuna.
