• On March 26, 2021, at the invitation of Bangladesh’s Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid a two-day visit to Bangladesh. This visit includes commemorations of three very important events. The first is Mujib Borsho. The second is Sheikh Mujibur Rahman’s birthday anniversary.

• After 132 years of service, the Indian army closed its military farm on March 31. The military farm is a farm established to provide hygienic milk to the entire British Indian garrison. Now that the military farm has been closed, all farm officials and workers have been redeployed within the ministry to continue to provide services to the organization. Various proposals to close the farm have been made in the past.

• The 17th BIMSTEC (Bay of Bengal Initiative for Multisectoral Technical and Economic Cooperation) Ministerial Conference hosted by Sri Lanka has been held. The meeting attracted the participation of all seven member states, including Myanmar, and the country witnessed a massive suppression of anti-military demonstrators.

• The center announced the famous Dadasaheb Phalke Award for his contributions as an actor, producer and screenwriter in recognition of Rajinikanth. The award was established in 1969 and is the highest honor for an artist in the Indian film industry. This award is part of the National Film Awards. This award is introduced annually by the “Ministry of Information and Broadcasting”.

• The Union Education Minister of launched the “MyNEP2020″ platform of the National Council for Teacher Education Portal. The platform aims to invite suggestions/comments/members from stakeholders to prepare drafts of National Mission for Mentoring Program membership (NMM) and National Professional Standards for Teachers (NPST).

• The Chief of Defense Staff (CDS) is operational and is committed to the 3rd Joint Logistics Node (JLN) in Mumbai. The third batch of JLN has been put into operation as part of measures to promote the integration of the three services and resource optimization. JLN will enhance joint interoperability between services and will greatly help in improving the logistics processes of the armed forces.

• The Indian army participated in the multinational military exercise SHANTIR OGROSHENA in Bangladesh. The multinational military exercise ” SHANTIR OGROSHENA 2021″ (Front Runner of the Peace) will be held in Bangladesh to commemorate the “Father of the Nation” Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujipur Rah Mann’s 100th birthday.

• The Prime Minister paid tribute to the people of Odisha in Utkala Dibasa. Utkala Dibasa or Odisha Day is celebrated on April 1 every year to mark the state’s separation from Bihar and Odisha in 1936. At that time, the Presidential Palace of Madras also added Koraput and Ganjam.
